Let me tell you a story about someone who thought she wasn’t “good at business.”
Her name is Victoria Baker. And if you’ve ever believed that being creative means you’ll never be strategic… or that success is reserved for someone else’s personality type, her journey might be the shift you’ve been waiting for.
When Victoria joined the Six-Figure Business Map, she wasn’t just looking for growth. She was looking for guidance. For someone to show her the steps. She had talent. She had passion. What she didn’t have was a clear path.
“I had accepted that, as a creative, I was always going to be bad at business,” she told me. “I just needed someone to tell me what to do to achieve my goals. Once I knew that… there was no stopping me.”
And she meant it.
The Leap That Changed Everything
At the time, Victoria was already a talented wedding photographer working in Australia. She was shooting weddings, saying yes to everything, and pouring her heart into her craft—but she was hitting a ceiling.
She took the leap and joined the Jai Long Business Map, already a fan of the podcast and some earlier courses. And then something clicked.
She started with a full branding overhaul… with help from Studio Leelou, so that her messaging, visuals, and vibe finally matched the quality of her work. Then came the pricing shift, and more importantly, a shift in belief. She stopped second-guessing what she was worth. She backed herself.
But what changed everything was her mindset.
“As soon as I started investing in myself, it all started flowing. I still can’t get over this part. I just don’t stress about money anymore.”
That shift opened the door to something even bigger.
The Wild Elopement Co Was Born
With her confidence growing and a business that finally felt strong, Victoria did something wild.
She started a second business.
In 2022, she and her husband launched The Wild Elopement Co… a dream venture where they take adventurous couples deep into national parks across Western Australia to get married in off-road, hard-to-reach, breathtaking locations.
Her husband’s background in forestry and 4WD skills, paired with her photography and wedding know-how, created something totally unique. They began working with other vendors, building packages, scaling up.
They’re now tracking at around 70 elopements and weddings per year, with a plan to expand even more.
“This course changed my life. It gave me the blueprint for the success I never thought was possible.”
And here’s the thing I want you to really take in, once you learn the business side, once you crack that code… you can do it again. And again.
You don’t just grow one business. You unlock the skills to create something new, anytime you want. That’s what Victoria did.
The Results Speak for Themselves
In just a few years, Victoria went from a talented, underpaid creative to a multi-business owner with a clear path, a strong brand, and a lifestyle she designed herself.
Revenue growth: Victoria Baker Photography 2020: $61K 2024: $192K 2025: $159K (taking fewer bookings to focus on elopements)
The Wild Elopement Co 2023 (from July): $47K 2024: $196K 2025: $272K
And here’s the best part. She’s not done. She’s just getting started.
She’s built a business model that supports her creativity, her values, and her life. One that doesn’t just fill a calendar… but fills her with purpose.
“I gave so much, and couples came to me because I helped them beyond just the photography. Especially at venues I knew well. I can’t really explain it, but as soon as I started giving… everything came back to me.”
A Message For You
Victoria’s story isn’t an outlier. It’s what happens when someone decides to back themselves fully. To stop waiting for permission. To take action even when it feels scary. To believe that the business side isn’t just for other people.
And if you’re wondering if you could launch something bold. Or start over. Or finally charge what you’re worth. Or even build something entirely new…
Let this be your reminder.
You can.
You just need the blueprint. You just need the belief.
