I’ve known Cassandra Catic for a while now. Years ago, we worked together at one of my all-time favourite venues—Rupert on Rupert in Melbourne. I was running Heartbreak Hotel, my old photobooth business, and Cass was photographing the wedding.
I still remember seeing her gallery come through after the event. I was blown away. The way she captured energy, the detail, the mood—it felt like art. We ended up using some of those images in our own marketing because they were that good. And she was kind enough to let us.
So when Cass joined the Six-Figure Business Map in late 2023, I was genuinely excited to work with her again. I already knew she was talented. But watching her evolve in such a short time reminded me why I love doing this work.
A Rebuild, Not a Restart
Cass joined at a time when she was feeling a bit slumped. A little uninspired. Not completely lost, but definitely ready for a shake-up.
“I felt unsure about the whole sales process,” she told me. “I just wanted to feel inspired again.”
So she took the leap. She joined the Jai Long Business Map and got to work… quietly, powerfully, and with a calm confidence that she carries in everything she does.
What stood out immediately was how quickly she took action. Within two weeks of joining, she messaged me to say how many changes she’d already made and how many new bookings were rolling in.
“I went back to myself,” she said. “And recreated my business from the inside out.”
That sentence stuck with me. Because that’s the heart of it. You don’t always need to burn it all down. Sometimes, you just need to return to the core of what you’re doing and build again with intention.
Creating Space for Alignment
Cass dug into everything. She refined her ideal client, not by chasing some mythical perfect person—but by reshaping her packages in a way that naturally attracted the right people.
She revamped her offers. Increased her pricing. And suddenly, things clicked.
“There’s no perfect client,” she said. “But there are perfect packages that help the right people choose you.”
She also leaned into Meta Ads, one of the areas inside the Business Map that often creates the biggest breakthrough for photographers. She told me that since learning how to run ads properly, nearly everyone who inquires is ready to book.
And when that’s not happening? She doesn’t blame the leads. She looks at what’s broken and fixes it. That kind of mindset is rare… and it’s what separates those who plateau from those who scale.
Despite already being over six figures in revenue before joining, Cass didn’t settle. She saw room to grow. Room to realign. And she didn’t waste time.
Ever After Effect
What I love most is what happened after she started making these shifts. New ideas began to flow. More space opened up.
Cass launched another business – Ever After Effect – and it wasn’t forced. It wasn’t a pivot out of panic. It was something that came organically. Because she made the space for it.
That’s the thing about alignment. When you stop chasing and start working from a place of clarity, new doors just seem to open.
“It’s all about the work you put in,” she told me. “You will succeed in your goals if you work on your business—and yourself—at the same time.”
And I couldn’t agree more.
Calm, Focused, Determined
Cass brings this calm, grounded energy that you can feel the moment she walks into a room—or even just onto a Zoom call. But underneath that is a strong fire. A quiet determination. She’s not loud. She doesn’t need to be.
She just shows up and gets it done.
And success always seems to flow toward people like that. The ones who work hard without resistance. The ones who stay focused but open.
I’m proud of Cass. She’s doing beautiful work as a wedding photographer in Melbourne, Australia. She’s helping her clients create timeless memories. And she’s building a business that feels true to her.
This isn’t a comeback story. This is a reinvention story.
And if you’re reading this wondering if you can do the same—yes, you can.
