Every once in a while, a student comes into the Six-Figure Business Map with so much heart and raw talent that you just know they’re going to do something special with it.
Taylor Czerwinski is one of those people.
I’ve been lucky enough to watch her grow quietly, consistently, and build a creative business that doesn’t just look good on paper, but actually feels like her. One that supports her life. One that lets her be present as a mother, a photographer, an artist, and a leader in her community.
She’s the real deal. And I’m so proud to share her story with you.
From Burnt Out to Booked Out
Taylor started with a film camera back in high school. She’s always known the arts were where she belonged. Early on, she found herself deep in the music scene… photographing bands, curating a print magazine, building something for her community. But when the pandemic hit, like a lot of creatives, she got burnt out. The publication folded. The path blurred.
Then she had her first baby.
And with that came a new kind of clarity.
She decided to make photography her full-time job. Not a side hustle. Not a “we’ll see what happens” thing. A real business. One that could support her family.
And that’s when she joined Jai Long’s Business Map. (My signature coaching program since 2019!)
A Slow Build That Changed Everything
She didn’t rush. She didn’t try to hack the system. She took her time and focused on the right things, one step at a time.
Over the course of two years, she completely reworked her brand—bringing together everything she stands for and everything she doesn’t. She knew exactly who her ideal client was, and she wasn’t afraid to speak to them clearly.
“I didn’t want stuffy, Pinterest-perfect weddings. I wanted real people who were designing a day that was true to them. Who trusted me to do my thing.”
She leaned into documentary, candid, and editorial style photography… the blend that attracted the kind of couples who got it. People who valued design. DIY brides with creative direction. Laid-back lovers who didn’t need posing instructions every five seconds.
She used SEO as her foundation, following the methods inside the Business Map to make her website work harder. She nailed her landing pages. Her contact form. Her reviews. Her about video. All of it created trust. All of it worked together to bring in aligned clients.
And here’s a smart move that blew me away, she took the questions from my Client Journal and turned them into a pre-call Google form. So when she hops on a Zoom, it’s friendly, spacious, and all about connection. Not just admin and logistics.
This is what it looks like to build a thoughtful, intentional brand that works.
The Results Speak for Themselves
Taylor went from making $1,500–$2,000 a month… to $60K in her first year, and then $106K in her second. While raising a baby. While doing things her way.
And she’s not glued to social media. She’s not posting constantly. She’s not trying to be an influencer. She’s just showing up for her business and her people, consistently and honestly.
“I’m a mom. I don’t have the capacity to always be online. So it was a relief to double down on what I’m good at and let go of the rest. That changed everything for me.”
This is what it looks like when you design a business to serve your life, not the other way around.
What She Said Still Gives Me Chills
“Truthfully, I’d pay double for Jai’s course knowing I am where I am now. I’ve been burned investing in programs that didn’t deliver. But this… the Six-Figure Business Map is different. It’s mind, body, spirit. It’s carefully curated. It’s connected. And it works.”
If you’ve been burned before, I hear you.
If you’re tired of chasing and you want to build something grounded, this is your sign.
Because once you learn how to build a business properly, one that’s scalable, searchable, and sustainable… you can do it again and again. Like Taylor’s doing now with both tlcweddingphotography.com and taylorlczerwinski.com.
You don’t need to be loud. You don’t need to go viral. You just need the right tools and the courage to show up.
